Ben has joined the WFP's campaign on world hunger. As a WFP Advocate he will help to spread the word about the terrible plight of some billion plus starving people around the globe and the need for us all to act.
Whilst travelling the world playing professional golf Ben will take the opportunity during his schedule to visit WFP project's in both Latin America and Africa. With first hand experience as to how the WFP projects work Ben will be able to help expose its work to the golfing and wider community around the world.
As part of Ben's endorsement of the WFP his golf bag and clothing will carry the WFP's logo's along with those of their 'Fill the Cup' and 'Billion for a Billion' campaign's.

Career Highlights:
Having joined the WFP's campaign on world hunger, Ben has been able to visit two of the World Food Programme's school feeding projects in Colombia and Kenya whilst there to play in the season's opening tournaments.
Where the WFP "Fill the Cup" programme operates the daily school meal (generally the only meal of the day) provides a very strong incentive for parents to send their children to school. Sadly there are currently 75 million children worldwide that do not attend school as poor households are often obliged to choose between school and work.
Ben will take the opportunity throughout the year to visit other projects and will help to promote the essential work of the UN's WFP.
