LOUIS SHARP
Louis Sharp is a New Zealand racing driver, who is currently driving for Prema Racing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship.
Sharp is a rising New Zealand racing driver who began his single-seater career after success in karting and junior formulae in New Zealand. He stepped up to the NZ Formula First Championship in 2020 and then moved into British Formula 4 in 2022 with Carlin, where he progressed rapidly and finished fourth overall before returning in 2023 to win the British F4 title with Rodin Carlin, scoring six wins, four poles and fourteen podiums during that championship campaign.
Building on his momentum, Sharp graduated to the GB3 Championship in 2024 with Rodin Motorsport. In his rookie season he claimed the GB3 title, becoming the first driver in the modern era to win British F4 and GB3 championships in consecutive seasons, with multiple race victories and poles en route to the championship.
In 2025 Sharp stepped up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Rodin Motorsport, competing against a deeper field and gaining valuable experience during his rookie season.
Looking ahead, he has been confirmed to race in F3 again in 2026 with Prema Racing as he continues his development on the path toward higher levels of open-wheel motorsport.
